Meet Nikki Essele
Nikki Essele, owner of Sand Petal Weddings & Events, brings an international perspective and a passion for meaningful celebrations to every event she plans. Originally from Bulgaria and having also lived in Canada, Nikki has always been inspired by the beauty of different cultures, traditions, and the unique ways people gather to celebrate life’s most important moments.
After graduating from McGill University with a background in Business Management and Marketing, Nikki built a professional career rooted in hospitality, client relations, and personalized service. Her experience cultivated a strong appreciation for thoughtful organization, elevated experiences, and the importance of creating events that feel both seamless and deeply personal.
As part of a family-owned company with more than 20 years of experience, Nikki has had the privilege of working with couples and clients from around the world, helping transform their visions into celebrations that are elegant, authentic, and unforgettable. Whether planning an intimate gathering or a luxury wedding experience, her focus remains the same: creating meaningful moments and lasting memories that truly reflect each client’s story.
Outside of event planning, Nikki enjoys traveling and spending time with her family — experiences that continue to inspire her creativity, broaden her perspective, and deepen her connection with clients from all backgrounds.
